It’s a pure freedom of speech issue. Barry is free to put whatever bollocks he wants up here. Others can form opinions or offer counter-arguments to the ones he’s making.
The problem for Bazza is that most of the arguments he’s making don’t hold water, don’t make much sense, nor do they conform to the political lingua franca we’re all used to. I take the piss out of my missus for only knowing her left from her right (properly) in a directional sense after she took to the roads. Barry’s political direction is just not trustworthy. I had more faith in my missus’ pre-test ability to give me the right roundabout exit than I do with Bazza’s current ability to detect political left and right, least of all comment on it.
He has not admitted it to himself yet, but he’s a colossal closet UKIP man.
He shoud still man-up and apologise in my opinion. I understand where he is coming from but I think he has misread the intentions of GA’s post and used the term ‘rape apologist’ unwisely.
Barry seems to solidify his own position on many subjects as he goes along so I don’t see why speculation by anyone else should be treated with such vehemence just because it fits Barry’s cause du jour.
Thankfully, this morning I am surprizingly refreshed despite working to 3am on year end reviews. I appear to have spent rather alot of time and energy simply calling Barry a cunt… which lets be fair, is not really the best use of my time.
I am also aware that a) there are much better insults and descriptors I could have used and b) papsweb loses its sense of free sprit, fun and gayness whenever we decend into such madness.

Well, I think so too, but am also of the opinion that any sort of apology or climbdown is unlikely to occur. I don’t agree with Barry’s interpretation of events, but I have been in a position where a bunch of people on a forum are demanding I make one for something that I wrote. I didn’t make one, so I get the stubbornness. That said, I’ve managed to balance that by admitting fault when I know I’m in the wrong (and everyone else does too).
The slur on GA is out of order, but let’s face it, no-one, not even Barry, is taking that seriously. Everyone is capable of being a cock on their day. The question for Bazza is whether he wants to make that state of affairs permanent.
