:saints: Saintsweb refugees - please read - help is at hand

Should be Aldebourgh then.

Meh, don’t believe all the press you read.

Don’t like Boris. Don’t like Keir. Got a fair idea of what both of them are.

Still stuck on this bit, what are these blue tablets and do I need to get some?

Haha…I really don’t know if you’d need them Tigger but the flaccid element on this forum will be in desperate need. Fortunately something that has never happened to me but you don’t want to know that. :lou_wink:

Depends on whether Mr Tigger can get up to a bit of late night fun or not!!

Glad to see they’re getting it sorted. Was pretty simple really.

“Sorry I’m not a website guy, but I can see where redirection issues may be causing problems. The site address is an alias for your cloudfront load balancer (dan1o7ct3u5eb.cloudfront.net) which has multiple VIPs, I was having a site performance issue so I flushed my DNS and received one of the alternate VIPs (see below) which seemed to resolve the ‘waiting for cache’ browser issues. Do you have the ability to scale your load balancer back to a single VIP to rule out a routing or DNS timeout issue? It may also be that TTL or similar records on the load balancer need tweaking. As I say, not a website guy so lots of speculation here based on infrastructure experience.”

Well that sounds pretty straightforward! :joy:

Yep obviously a loose spigot.

So, simply turning it off and on again isn’t the solution then?

Basically, they enhance a bloke’s sexual performance from “pathetic” and shift it all the way up to “desperately disappointing”. :+1::+1:

Is this a user review?

Could be. I haven’t the faintest idea what he’s talking about.

So it’s like this, you want to travel from Southampton (your PC) to Glasgow (Saintsweb) and a central stanav (the loadbalancer) has the choice of several routes, some really quick, some (following B roads) are very slow.

You have no choice what the satnav is giving you and you just follow it blindly.

What this guy basically did is restart his satnav and it gave him, luckily, the quickest route. This may not work for everyone as the satnav will just distribute the routes randomly to stop all the routes getting clogged up.

What he’s saying is that the satnav needs to be programmed to give you all quicker routes…

Thanks. Excellent analogy that I actually understand.

I thought we were still using LITSL’s Ordance survey maps and a female navigator?
