Someone needs to explain to these young lads that this is NOT the Southampton way.
You are supposed to dominate the game, have dozens of shots on goal, and then concede a goal early in the second half, run out of breath and then lose without anyone understanding why.
This is how the 1st team and the B team do it - we need to have the same thing with the under 18s.

B team lost again. Still propping up the league. 2 nil up and managed to lose 3-2. I’m worried that the play book is being implemented at the cost of actually winning. Quote from Romeu in the SDE today “we actually played ok against Wolves”. Not sure he was watching back the same game as I endured for 90 minutes. We certainly never looked like scoring and we didn’t look like we wanted it that much ?
Awfully decent of our yoof keeping Dear Nige in his job. Mind you, I don’t think we’ve ever won a game in this comp.

I know that straight after a game can be a tough interview but if you were teaching this lot some “life skills”, it might start with a kick up the arse. They’ve just turned over Crawley Town and won the game … fucking smile for goodness sake and show some emotion.
