I think it just goes to show that it’s going to be too much too soon for him. Too much to ask of him to rely on him for many games for the rest of the season.

Yep.
If he was partnering Virgil to cover for an injured Yoshida I’d back him, but alongside Gardos it’s definitely asking too much.
Looked good next to Yoshida on Wednesday but then the entire team was setup to defend and they had lots of cover from CM and left and right backs.

Well once we’ve won the EFL trophy there’ll be no need to rotate the squad so drastically. Strong finish to the season to finish 5th.

The problem with these sort of games is that when they are so one-sided, they just become dull. And there will be a lot of disgruntled fans leaving the stadium wondering why they bothered paying money to see such a woeful performance from the team.
That’s football fans for you, we’re a fickle bunch.
