The problem we have is that Redmond is not really that great (but does have potential) , Boufal doesn’t seem to be able to do it for some reason (maybe time will help) and Tadic has lost the plot somewhat. We do lack something in midfield but then we’ve just broken the club record to buy Lemina (It’s that his name?). Fingers crossed, we could be great!
He was a great player when we signed him, as is Lallana. Saints are weaker without those two

I know you do get players who can cope with being fairly one-footed, but not to the extent that they can barely kick the bloody thing with their weaker leg.
I just can’t understand how a professional footballer who if nothing else, has the luxury of being able to practice playing football all day (and with state-of-the-art technology and top level coaches and facilities to help them) can’t get their weaker foot up to code.
Didn’t Pavel Nedved go from being right-footed to finishing his career as more-or-less totally ambidextrous out of sheer practice?

I think we need to accept the fact that Tadic has some serious dirt on Les. No matter how ineffective or down right shit he is, he seems to almost always play 90 minutes. Regardless of the manager so the decision must be coming from the top…
Regarding the comments above, we 100% have not replaced Mane. Boufal? No chance. Redmond? No chance. 2 assists between them last year.
Tadic filled the Lallana shaped hole initially but fuck knows what has happened to him over the last 9 months or so.
Theres still a week left and rumours that we are still in the market for an attack minded midfielder so here’s hoping something transpires.
