:saints: Saints v Wolverhampton Wanderers :wolvesfc: (PL)

Boom.

We got there.

They’re not garbage, they’re inconsistent.

Welcome to the same page.

Not the required standard we need, Stephens certainly isn’t, the others are squad players at best.

He is trying to be seen

Jack Stephens really is fucking shit though, when was the last time a shit defender (come on honestly) continually played and fucked up all the time?

Ah, the welcome return of normal #saintsfc lifr

I built a cheese and onion sandwich and downloaded an s king novel. The onion is helping me through.

He’s played 90 minutes for 13 games.

Whilst you (decided to stay away as we were winning) posted less, we’ve been on a great run. Don’t know if you saw that or not.

Jack Stephens was part of that run.

You had it right when you said he’s “inconsistent”.

A bit like your posting record.

Really missed these post-match chats.

Bazza’s powers are getting stronger, the only thing that can stop him is 20 points from the next 10 games…

Fuck that I’m posting as I’m bored, people seem to respond to my posts, I’m not fishing but they’re biting.

They’re biting like your momma

Please elaborate on the type of cheese and type of onion. Don’t mention the book again.

Thought 2-0 flattered us at half time. A disappointing result but I don’t think we were hard done by. Missed a couple of good chances to kill the game off and got punished by a pretty good Wolves side. Never got to grips with Traore. Couldn’t fault our effort but we just came up short today.
Still 6 points off 18th and 6 points off 5th. I’ll take that.
We march on.

This was one of those rare moments when I almost wished I was into online betting. One of those “2-0 up at home against Chelsea but you just know we’re going to get beaten anyway” type of moments.

Chelsea just conceded to Newcastle in the last seconds. FT 1-0.

With the rest of my browsing history to chew over, I guess they’ll overlook me nicking a dodgy stream to watch the saints lose.

Well that wasn’t great but I must admit I had an ominous feeling at half time. I thought to myself in the shower (whilst scrubbing my balls), “what we don’t want to do is concede a goal early in the second half and give them hope”.

Crap defending for all three goals. That horrible tendency of marking the six yard line rather than the opposition players reared it’s ugly head again, which was a bit frustrating.

Oh well, never mind.

On the plus side:

  • two different players have contributed goals.

  • the club may rethink their rethought transfer policy of taking a step back in the market. From the brief highlights I’ve seen Cedric did not cover himself in glory for a couple of the goals, nor did Stephens.

I’m not suggesting for a second that anybody will be panicking after that defeat but it will be interesting to see if we do dip in to the market now.

i thought Cedric had a pretty good game today and I am quite happy to call him a shit cunt most of the time.

Me too, especially in attack. Excellent work for Longy’s goal. Also a great goal saving tackle late on.

Fat bastard

That was Bednarek’s 2nd ever goal for us. The previous was a very similar one to yesterday’s in April 2018 at home to Chelsea. It put us 2-0 up.

We lost 2-3. Don’t let him score anymore.
