Belatedly watched MOTD. First goal was truly awful. Three chances to get rid, Salisu pass woefully short but I still blame Forster who was unbelievably slow to react to the short pass - instead of attacking and clearing it just stood off.
I think that’s harsh. The pass from Bednarek to Salisu was the first error. Should have gone upfield. Forster, anticipating that Salisu would have to pass back to him in less than ideal circumstances, was backing away to allow a fraction more time for his kick upfield.
When Salisu underhit his pass, Forster was still backing away hence he was not able to able to immediately close down. A comedy of errors.
