Difficult to judge up against 10 but Pied looks decent so far. Pushes forward well.

Second half was better than shite but we need to start shooting on sight of the fucking goal Gomez was just parrying it more attempts at his bloody onion bag would have given us more attempts at putting the rebound into the back of the bloody thing.

I only watched the second half. Started that well and Redmond looked very lively and dangerous. Then we seemed to stall a little and definitely need someone just to take control and either provide the killer pass or have a shot on the outside of the box.
Based on 2nd half:
Cedric was decent but misplaced some passes and crosses didnt quite work. Pied seemed to be a bit more direct but again, final ball/pass/shot just not quite good enough. I think he’ll be ok for us though based on that performance.
Targett looked pretty good. Lovely cut back for Long - who missed the ball.
VVD good
Yoshida was Yoshida and played well enough but included his obligatory shit back pass.
Davis was ok but needs to take more control and be more positive
Tadic played well and privided some excellent balls
Hoiberg (excuse spelling) was very good when he came on. He needs to start.
Long was ok, but a professional footballer cant swing for the ball and miss it completely. What a tit.
Redmond - could be the next Terry Henry.
In summary, we need to sign someone to win us games - someone to shoot, pass, assist and be the spark for the team. £40m should do it.

Good analysis that, for a fat bloke. A couple of omissions and additions.
Forster had little to do, and Romeu seemed to lose his man for their goal - but I’d also suggest she was a team error as much as his. Everyone was too deep.
JWP was average today. In preseason he’s been snapping into everything with real high intensity and did t have that today.
Thought Davis had his worst half for us in a while. (first half).
All in all pretty rusty but enough positives to make me feel better for the season ahead.
