:pl: :saints: Saints v Norwich City :norwichcityfc: (Live on Prime Video)

So I miss 2 games and we win them both. Shit bags. Still, 6 points and things look a little less gloomy. Massive.

If your meeting goes well, do the team a favour and take the Mrs away for the weekend

I’ve fucking aged thanks to that second half

Why can’t we just stuff someone out of sight and give us an easy ride?

Better game than Saturday, not least as Norwich came to play football and Watford didn’t. Excellent first half, two decent goals and comfortably in control. Norwich played better in the second half, and I’d agree that Ralph was slow to respond to the changes that they made at half time. This made it a more even game, but we still produced plenty and had some decent chances. Norwich produced little of note (or at least, nothing that I remember) until their goal; after that they put us under some pressure, but thankfully lacked the quality to make it count.

Decent performance generally I thought. Yes, it was against Norwich, and we were hanging on a bit at the end, but we created chances throughout and were good value for the win. That’s two home wins on the trot, and we’re out of the dreaded drop zone. And we’ve got Danny Ings properly fit and playing full games - he’s looking like one hell of a bargain now at Ā£20 million.

Was it ā€˜phenomenal’?

Danny Ings cost the same amount of money as Carrillo.

Just let that sink in a moment

Danny Ings is proving to be a very good signing indeed, in a market where buying a player who can regularly find the net will cost you in excess of Ā£30-35m. Ings was a good buy, Carillo wasn’t, I think that’s all there is to it.

Yeah, this.

I wonder if he deemed Boufal not quite recovered enough to play the last 30? Cos he would have been ideal at retaining the ball at their end of the pitch around the time that the balance of play started to shift.

I think Jan would be good time to off load Hoyberg. He just isnt as good as everyone tells him he is - me included
We need something different in midfield.

Lol
.mental.

I politely disagree.

I haven’t confirmed this, but if this comment is correct, you owe the man a big apology(I thought he was very good and made some nice forward runs).

ā€œI’m surprised Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg doesn’t even get a mention considering he basically broke the Premier League record in terms of the amount of balls he won (18).ā€

From here(comments section).
