Can I just take a second out of the euphoria to say well done to @PhilippineSaint and @JxgrSaint for their bold prediction

Hopefully @PhilippineSaint bet on the same scoreline…

Thanks Btripz, it’s a special day - not least as my final day as a 26 year old.

I have had something of a difficult relationship with my prediction. I went into half time feeling very smug and then promptly fell dead asleep as a consequence of a pretty heavy night yesterday and my soon to be advanced age.

I’ve just woken up and am now both eagerly awaiting the second half highlights on MOTD and dreading the imminent malfunctioning of my prostate… :birthday:

Happy Birthday to me (almost) and thanks Che you suddenly useful bastard

Mrs Bucks predicted a win at 6.30pm. I said I very much doubted it. I was challenged to buy an expensive Japanese take away if I was wrong.

It’s worth it.

Well I fucking never. I love football. I love Saints. What a body on the line performance that was.

It happened because I ran 10 miles before the game.

WOOP WOOP!
MOTD2
We’re the fucking best.

Got Leeds away vibes from that game the longer it went on. At half time I was thinking we’ll still lose but at least city will have to work fucking hard for their win, by 70 minutes I was convinced we would hold out, I’ve never been so nervous about a game that didn’t really mean much in the grand scheme of things. In that sense it was very satisfying watching the team, to a man, working so hard for each other, these could be seen as our pre-season games and if we carry on working this hard we can go into next season with the scales tipped a bit more in favour of optimism :lou_smiley:

TOTP is on BBC from 1983. I’m surprised that not only do I recall all the songs but I know pretty much all the lyrics as well. I was only 10. I was too shy shy

I think bananarama ignited the fire in my balls.

I don’t know the appropriate thread for these feelings

Bonnie Tyler was and is a cunt. 10 year old Fatso hated her and modern day Fatso also hates her. You only get a gravelly voicebox like that if you’ve taken too many cocks into the throat. Ans I should know.

so that explains Sean Dyche.

From BBC:

Southampton have won 11 points against ‘big six’ sides in the Premier League this season - only Wolves (12) have won more outside of those ‘big six’ sides
