:saints: Saints v Liverpool :liverpoolfc: (PL)

Dear Ralph.
Thanks for the life you have injected into our team…
But most importantly thanks for the respect you’ve given us from other fans. Especially the cute Polish chick who tried & failed to take me home tonight.

One of my absolute pet hates about going to the footie John. Pisses me off when they stream out 5 mins before half and full time then stand infront of you if the crowd gets noisy. Wankers. I once remonstrated with one of them and it got a bit fiesty (verbally) but i too felt better …

That was probably the most I have enjoyed watching us lose. The dippers in the pub were all stressed to hell, amusing, the neutrals were roaring their encouragement louder than the entire Chapel stand ever get.
The beer was good (the queue for the loo wasn’t). And the respect from everyone was something I think we’d forgotten as fans.
The after party was fun, the Bompey fan spent most of his life working across S E Asia, so we compared football bars in Bangkok, discussed Travel Mush and drank more beers.
We DID make it to a club, but tbh the stairway looked like a millenial refugee camp, loads of “kids” glued to their mobile phones and a 10 quid entry fee, so we skipped that and went to the Vodka bar.
My Uber home was fine, think I was able to focus and type something. Got in on tip toe, went to bed.
To be given absolute pelters this morning. Seems 1) I had got home at 2:30am 2) I had double locked the apartment front door, but left it open, so the cat had spent an entertaining night exploring the rest of the block. (Good job I didn’t go for the late night bacon sarnie & burn the place down)
The offside goal call was marginal, but when do we actually play offside? Thought we did it too much last night.
Keita was a clear penalty, Maya’s flying kung fu clearance was amazing and the best bit? The sound wasn’t loud enough to be able to hear Carragher.
Now on to a bloody difficult game against Wolves, they need the win to have a chance of getting into Europe through the League and are in fine form.
Yes we showed guts character and not a little talent last night, but the fact remains we need another win from somewhere on top of the Huddersfield game.
Back to reality.
And no, I’m not going to the local game today, I’m grounded for shopping duties after doorgate.

You think we need 39pts to stay up? Can you see Cardiff getting 10pts from their remaining 6 games (I think they could beat palace and fulham but that’s about it)? I think 3-4 more points is all we need, stay positive fella :lou_sunglasses:

Hey you! Tell us more about the “incident” involving almost going to the wrong home

Narrow escape caused by “taxis going in same general direction” luckily Uber don’t do drop offs in a different direction in English so avoided a pickled mistake.
Still getting pelters about the door mind

I’ve had a response:

Fair and balanced? I must have missed the point where he was giddy with excitement when Saints took the lead and when he shouted ‘get in Lucas Moura you little dancer’ when Spurs scored.

And yes, I have too much time on my hands.

Shit, sorry I didn’t mean to delete it.
