:pl: :saints: Saints v Chelsea :chelseafc: (live on Sky)

He came in for the Car Thief who was letting in the same kind of goals. Both of them in goal wouldn’t help atm tbf

The only thing I can say is thanks to an emergency gas alarm which had us all mustering at emergency stations (a false alarm) I missed Chelsea’s third goal.

What about the 4th?

Fans at the ground obviously felt it was wank and they all left after 80 mins.

managed to see that would have been better if I was still at muster

It was the lack of substitutions that gave me the irritated feeling

I’ve said it before.
JWP, Romeu & PEH are too similar and average atcwhat they do, create too little and while they run around have no pace.
Time to drop 1 of them and get something different in there.
Let alone the defence

Correct

They do that whether we’re winning, losing or drawing!!

Was a different time and team but when we were good what made us good was our speed of ball movement and accuracy in passing. Cow.Ass.Banjo

How bad is our home record? The fans, ground and atmosphere surely must play some part, that record is fucking embarrassing. We won 18 Premiership games in 84 attempts, no clapper can attempt to spin that, no owner defenders can defend that.
18/84 = Laughable.

Well that was a fucking terrible performance.
I’ll forgive Bednarek (who was shocking in the first half) as he doesn’t have many bad games. Valery and Yoshi were ok. Bertrand looks like he’s towing a fucking piano.
Romeu and JWP huffed and puffed but were generally a yard off the pace at least. The game simply went around Hojbjerg. How he stayed on the pitch for the whole game I have no idea. Redmond was poor, Ings was alright and Shane Long was Shane Longish.
What the fuck Ralph was doing I have not a fucking scooby. Adams, Armstrong, Boufal and Obafemi on the bench and when he remembered they were there (way too late again) he just made like for like changes. Madness. Priority should be getting a new no2 in to assist him because at the moment it looks like Ralph has lost it. More of that and he’ll be gone by christmas. Fuck walking away he’ll be getting sacked.

He’s viewed as a good a manager and won’t be arsed, we’ll be in shit street, Jesus himself couldn’t make those players the required standard.

thank you lol

So you think he made the right subs today?

No, too late but are the subs good enough? Subs make a difference as the game progresses, our starting line up wasn’t good enough and that needs to be acknowledged, thats as bad a defence of cb’s as I can remember in the top flight.

Get your point, but he was left with a choice of 3 to cover. Yes his position would say Alonso, but i think he was left with a choice he never should’ve had to make.
Agree with the rest of your post
Anyone know where jwp was supposed to be playing?

I agree whole-heartedly … what is the reason for waiting until 80+ minutes and making a sub ? WTF can they do in the last 10mins when the other side (mostly) shut up shop ? We needed a change of plan at about 65mins when the “half time oranges break plan” clearly was going South. Ralph talks a good talk but since Danny the right hand man left, he’s not looked the same. Oh well, we’ve now got 2 weeks of training videos to look forward to.

Interestingly enough (for those watching on Sky) … JWP had a “shoot out” with MLT before the game. 5 shots each (dead ball specialist stylee). It ended up 1-nil to JWP. Therefore, when he stepped up to take the free kick just outside the D … it was never going in. Wen will everyone stop talking about “dead ball specialist” ? And don’t get me started on the corner to no-one. WTF was that all about ?

We limp on. SCD

No tactical changes all game. Looked like he’d run out of ideas to me. Why not take one of JWP, Romeu or Hojbjerg off? They were all ineffective. We were 3-1 down.
