:saints:šŸ•“ Saints' next manager

I’m ok with Pellegrini tbh. He’s the rich man’s Ranieri. It’s also Interest that grini is argentinian for ā€œGoalsā€, so his name literally means Pelle Goals, which bodes well for Graziano srs.

Does smell of cheap option tho. Club are prob planning to recycle pochetinnos old MP branded training gear.

You are wrong my fine ursine friend of small brain (like most bears, especially called Pooh, do your friends call you Pooh?) Everyone knows Pellegrini is a cheap Italian Sparkling wine drunk by women in the 1980’s who had slack morals at parties - you would have approved of such antics bear, as they always got very drunk and had lots of sex, but in the days before bumsex was invented so you might have been sad bear.

Pellegrini would be a surprise appointment but I’m sure the board know what they are doing. Huge experience in Europe and could well attract some very good names, or more importantly keep the ones we want.

What very few people realise is that he is half chameleon as well.

When he is bored shitless he has the innate ability to ā€˜defocus’ his body and blend in with the background

So, if ā€˜a Pellegrini’ is getting off with a drunk woman (BTW No means, No, Gay), is a Manual Pellegrini a wank?

The Automatic Pellegrini costs a bit more but its more relaxing to drive and the gearbox lasts longer

Looks good for Pellegrini would expect it to be confirmed as his agent put him in the frame so he obviously wanted the job.His record shows he is good at managing teams on a smaller budget than the big boys (Villarreal).Should be happy managing a sqad devoid of big egos and I am sure he will want to keep Mane in view of his hat trick that demolished City a few weeks ago.

I always liked Pellegrini at 'City.

He had a charming calmness about him.

He either came across as serious and focused, or not really giving a shit.

IF he’s our next manager, and we’ve just lost to Burnley, I wonder if I’ll still see the charm. I hope so.

I hope so. Something feels right about him at Saints.

Thanks for the update Jack, one thing that does concern me though is that the cluib are effectively telling Puel he is second choice should Pellegrini decide to not take the job, surely if that comes to pass Puel could say ā€œthanks but no thanksā€ with his head held high?

Good show of ambition from the board though, who would have thunk, 5 years ago, that we would have a prospective manager with the CV of Pellegrini’s?

Pellegrini is the Chilean version of Prosecco my wife drinks loads of it.

Vitor Pereira has today denied talking to Southampton & is focused on Fenerbahce. Wonder if this is true, or he’s had a phone call to say he hasn’t got the job!

So, that effectively places my balls squarely on the chopping block, and once I click on that little green ā€œAdd Postā€ button any moment now – praying fervently that my old friend is not setting me up for the finale of the greatest wind up ever played on me.

You do realise Gerbils are quite partial to nuts.

As I said on Twitter let’s hope you’re not a eunuch come the weekend. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Wow, Pampelmousse has a BIG problem with you Jack. I hope you didn’t finger his wife.

I’ve been thinking this as well, Bob.

I don’t recall the club leaking info before installing Poch and Koeman (perhaps I missed it?)

If they are leaking info then it seems a dangerous ploy to me because not only does it leave them exposed to the potential problem you’ve outlined, it also raises the fans expectations to the point whereby installing anyone other than Pellegrini will now be deemed a disappointment by most supporters.

Any sort of leakage is generally a bad thing, as Bear well knows.

I like how everyone is suddenly yeah, pellegrini, that’s who i always wanted, what a manager! No-one else even come close. I mean, considering how when we done poll he was joint 4th choice, tied with Eddie Howe.

In all honesty tho, I have been saying right from the beginning that Pellegrini is the best man for the Job. No-one else even comes close.

Like the recent local elections how many have actually been bothered to vote, how many people knew the other managers that well?

For mine I didn’t know Emery that well and I would have taken MP or AV-B over the rest, FdB was always a non-starter for me as was Moyes and Howe!!

Hi folks, now that I’ve found where you’ve all gone.

Been rather out of all this in Spain, but would happily take Pellegrini or Puel. Different, but both would be good. Pellegrini in particular a great statement! Eat your hearts out little Merseyside club
