You’ve outdone yourself Jack, nice one! Good to have some seemingly genuine ITK information which ties together all the rumours we’ve been hearing recently. Most pertinent bit to me is the meeting between RK and the board before he went on his second holiday with that ultimatum - seemed very odd that we didn’t get the deal done and dusted as we usually do so that sheds a lot of light on the situation.

On a personal note, glad to hear that your Dad’s picking up and hope to have you here more regularly soon Jack :slight_smile:

Someone on TSW wrote something very similar about Ron possibly trying to use the Everon offer as a bargaining chip and it blowing up in his face and I had a chuckle at the time thinking it would be funny if true. This situation has been bugging me for a while as I am sure it has everyone else because I cvouldnt make sense of Koeman’s logic. Especially after saying categorically that we wasnt going anywhere. For me the club have played a blinder and “Sir” Les Reed has gone up even further in my estimation. I dont know what is funnier? Ron doing himself up like a kipper or the Everton fans realising they have got a managment team who do not want to be there?!!! :lou_sunglasses:

Paints cowman in quite flattering light IMO. Keeping Mane & spending billions on new players are things that are in my interest, so it is nice of Ronald to go to bat for me with the board on this subject. It’s a shame for him if he has to go manage Everton in consequence, but i spose it will work out for the best all round. Koeman gets £££, Everton gets gd Manager, and SFC gets a new manager who is willing to sell Mane and play youth bros even if they’re not v.good.

All in all, I vote we lower the threat level, and downgrade Cowman from ginger back down to strawberry blonde. Crisis averted.

Duncan Holley has confirmed the part about Matty Targett, both on TSW and on Twitter. That would have been a massive worry for everyone at board level. The business model depends on the promotion of youth. Southampton could pay that sort of money. We don’t.

A glorious retelling, Bear. I can see it now. A broken man walking into the Thomas Frost on County Road, and asking for “three millions pints of lager please. I have a bad bet I’d like to forget” with a Dutch accent.

He did it all for us. In about a 100 years time, the gravity of his sacrifice will be truly known and the budding seeds of a new faith, Koemanism, will start to emerge. Its holy places will be the Nou Camp, St. Marys, and wherever he fucked off to on holiday in the contract wilderness.

Goodison will be repurposed as Koemanism’s version of hell. A place where the damned that leave the true path end up.

One has to marvel at some of the arguments being used to dismiss JS’ post.

One, completely original one that has not been repeated ad fucking nauseum by total fucking morons, is using his self-chosen username as “proof” that the content doesn’t stack up.

Let’s hope to fuck these people aren’t in involved in any kind of detective or police work.
