Yeah I was starting to wonder where the interview was. We haven’t even had a ‘contract signing/handshake with Les’ photo.

Think we just announced early to make sure we got in there before Palace could twist their unveiling of De Boer to ‘Ha ha we got De Boer so now Saints will have to settle for Pellegrino’, when it was Pellegrino we wanted.

Well I’m back from, me and me mate’s Annexing of The Sudetenland to find we have a new manager…some funny Eyetie sounding name. Did a little research on him and meh wasn’t that impressed until I read this…“his English is very good”
That is good enough for me…a manager’s briefing that I can understand…for Bazza’s sake I hope he has a good line in excuses.

I’d love if a player, not even a Saints player, just came out and said this new guy is utterly effing clueless. Just once. It’d be pretty entertaining.

I agree! It would be easier for them to lose the dressing room when they start and they are still finding their way around. No one has an excuse not to know where the dressing room is after being at the club for a year.

Jon Rahm’s name is a hot one in the game right now.
The Spaniard, 22, has enjoyed a remarkable improvement in his ranking over the last couple of years, coming from outside the world’s top 1,000 to now sit seventh.
His Spanish roots have seen him compared to the late Seve Ballesteros but this week Rahm said: “If I do a quarter of what Seve did, I’d probably be satisfied.”
He is also working with a former bomb disposal expert Joseba del Carmen, who is now his mental coach. Del Carmen is expected to work at Southampton Football Club this season as he has previously done work for the club’s new manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
