Maybe you think the same way as Pap? I donât know but there is very little condemnation on this site concerning Putin, all that is said is whataboutery, nothing about Ukrainian civilians, casualties etc etc.

Let me say this plainly. Russia has sought to achieve political ends with war. That is not good for the world, and a likely scenario is that like the early part of the 20th century, they get away with it. Itâll encourage China in Taiwan and plenty of others.
Let me also say this plainly. I can remember the Cold War ending and the Berlin Wall coming down - and rather naively, probably just like you, thought âgreat, this is all sortedâ.
It should have been and if weâd been gracious in victory we would not have the problems we have today. The West was not. This was not, as we hoped, a period of peace and reconciliation. It was instead, a thirty return to old norms, because the US in particular could not resist the triumphalism.
I have difficulty justifying the scope of Russiaâs invasion, and if it had happened in a vacuum, it would have my unbridled condemnation.
The waters are muddied because Ukraine has spent eight years shelling part of its own territory, and it looks fucking dodge when people speak of the brave people of Ukraine without mention to those âUkrainiansâ getting shelled by their own fucking government.
