I can honestly say I have no recollection of the pictures in Muslim bars the pictures / graphics are more artful tasteful than glorification of past hero’s apart from Turkey where Mr Ataturk is represented quite a lot.

Wouldnt it be great if you could remove all the Nazis? As Chutters has said, it is illegal in Germany. If you wore something like that here, depending on why you were wearing it, you could be done for inciting (I suspect you would get away with it if you went to a fancy dress party dressed as Hitler). The swastika was a symbol of good fortune and goes back centuries, originating in India. The Nazis nicked it. You might get away with wearing that if you dont have a shaved head and DMs.
Have all the Nazi’s been removed from Germany? Of course not, their rising there, the Nazi’s use a variation of the swastika, there’ll at an angle but the Asian ones aren’t, they have been used everywhere all over time, the Nazis highjacked it.

Yes, so why this week? Why not a month ago? Where are the reports that show the residents have been campaigning on this issue for weeks, months or even years?

I really dont know. They could have been campaigning for years. Does it really matter? The point is that they were there and they are now coming down.
