As I understand it there are different levels of spirituality. When a spirit is reborn it comes back to learn more lessons (as this vibrational plane - Earth - offers experiences that you dont get in the spirit world). With each new incarnation the spirt attains a higher vibration. It could well be a load of bollocks and I certainly cant offer up any scientific proof for this stuff, but I did dabble in it a few years back and the lady who took the classes was clearly well in tune with this stuff and I did see and hear some things that made me think there was something in the afterlife malarky.

You admit yourself there is no scientific evidence for it, so why would you give it any credibility at all?

I am not going to get into this in great detail with with you. I accept that many people think it is bollocks and that is fine with me. As I say, I used to dabble in it a while back and found it very interesting. Not all mediums are in it for the money. Plenty give readings for free, I have been told stuff that these people would have no idea about. For example a medium gave me a lot of info about my daughter’s birth trauma that she had no way of knowing about (my eldest almost died in childbirth). I have heard from my father (who died 21 years ago) and more recently from a neighbour friend of ours who recently passed away. Whether this stuff comes from the spirit world I dont know, but none of it came from me as I just sat and listened most of the time. The lady who gave the classes I went to was also a healer. A friend of mine had an inoperable brian tumour and I suggested that she saw the healer as she had nothing to lose. Unfortunately there was nothing she could do for my friend but did describe the shape of the tumour perfectly (there was a small bit joined to a larger bit by a thin stalk) just by passing her hands over my friends head. I cant expain this stuff but am prepared to keep an open mind about it. I dont think for one minute that this has anything to do with some old diety sitting on a cloud, but I am receptive to energies working at levels that most of us cant perceive. Quantum physics is certainly starting to show that we are still skimming the edge of how the Universe really works.
Meant to add - whilst I havent seen anything myself in terms of ghosts etc - I have, first hand, witnessed three or four days of poltergeist activity. My step daughter had just started to go through puberty and we went through nearly a week of pictures falling off walls, glasses falling off tables and smashing in the middle of the night and bayonet bulbs (facing upwards) popping out of their holdings and smashing on the floor. On every occasion I was the first one out of bed and everyone else was still tucked up. After the first night I checked every one of the bayonet bulbs and they were all properly fixed in.
It is a con and utter bollocks, those conned by it remember the hits and forget all the misses.
It is cold reading. You don’t need special powers, anyone can do it.
The gulible are fooled by this technique and exploited for their money…

For a short period of my life I worshipped David Blaine. I thought he was sent to earth to make us better people. Then I read an article about how he does he elevating stuff and it’s all tricks and bollocks. So I’m back now cheering Mohammed on.
