:labour: šŸŒ… Red Dawn - Life Under Labour

Stop the boats is one thing. Removing indefinite leave to Remain is quite another.

Reform has enough people in power to put a proper foot in it over the next three and a half years.

Reform may be more popular than any other party right now, but it’s a long way from 50% support.

Their opportunity lies with the fact that Labour aren’t very popular either - and I can’t see people holding their noses for Keir.

You like me live in Liverpool, if when the people you know who were solid Labour will either abstain, vote Reform, Libs or Greens then you know this has to be happening everywhere, this is one of the most solid places in the country for Labour, this hasn’t happened solely under Starmer, its been happening for 30 odd years and this is the result.

Rachel from accounts is in trouble - she has rented out her property without getting a licence from the council which is a criminal offence

will Starmer look a gift horse in the mouth

Whilst they are not actually doing very much, they are brilliant at kicking themselves in the bollocks which is laudable considering they’ve got their head up their arse at the same time.

There’ll be a huge amount of people who voted for Brexit and are voting Reform here, when the successive governments have laughed at you, taken your vote for granted, scorned you and think of you as scum can you blame them, the mp’s of the South should go there, they’d not only shit themselves they wouldn’t recognise it.

Anyone else check to see if we are better than Portsmouth on that list :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

This is a good analogy…but you won’t see it in Reform propaganda…

Well we will need to find a few more lentils from the middle classes to replace the tax that he put in the pot

and it would have been multiples of millions even with the old non dom scheme

Well that budget sucked 2.0

Curtailing salary sacrifice on pensions is a bit shit particularly when they left public sector pensions alone and the triple lock

also you can still get a salary sacrifice on a Ā£150k EV or a Ā£10k road bike - why haven’t they addressed this

and all the welfare give away happen now whereas all the tax stuff happen 3 years down the pipe (cynically after the next election) so all she has down is expand her black hole

Reeves is getting a load of flak from the Retail and hospitality sector

in her budget speech she promised them historically low business rates

What she didn’t say is she is removing a Covid related discount iof 40% and the agency in charge of revaluations smuggled out a new set of rises under cover of the budget

Net effect - the average boozers rates bill will be over 60% higher in 3 years time

There is a lot of shit coming out already.
No blackhole for one

Even if they do rely on MOT readings for cars over 3 years old, is there sufficient communication between departments to ensure it would work?
