Who ignored them, the Tories?
They arenāt having to work very hard, if your idea is that itās all a plot against Starmer. Iām amazed by how little support heās getting from his own ranks.
Read this
Itās not a plot against Starmer but more some people making a lot of noise (& being amplified on tāinternet) because Labour arenāt the Tories - or even more right wing in their views, symptomatic globally if you look.
Streeting, tipped as a potential future Labour leader, defended Starmer, whose popularity ratings are currently at near-record lows, predicting the prime minister would ā100%ā take the party into the next election.
āHe has the full support of the party, and his position is secure.ā ![]()

I reckon heāll step down on health grounds before June.
Genuine question.
I see this a lit.
You ignore ALL the convictions.
Yet the leader of the gang in one Northern City walks around
How many convictions?
What length of convictions?
How do they compare to conviction rates/lengths in say Salisbury or Eastbourne or Poole?
I see figures of THOUSANDS of victims. How many convictions?
OK Boomer

And also watch the Jonathan Pie vid in @lifeintheslowlane ās post above.

Also be careful out there
OK itās the Grauniad so you wonāt find similar in the Daily Heil or Torygraph
Dunno - your guess is as good as mine or anyone elseās tbf ![]()
Reform polling higher that the Tories and just behind Labour - apparently 16% of people who voted Tory in the last election will switch to Reform this time
I think the Tories could be in real trouble of being marginalised entirely
Labour are now the Tories and Reform are the Fascists
Librals and old Tories are bystanders
Reform are picking up votes across the political spectrum including from the Libs and Labs - There is something more fundamental at play than simply left and right politics.
What do you think it is?
People are pissed off with the traditional parties and their snouts in the trough. They see Reform as something new that might do something different (although they wonāt, Farage has the longest snout!!).
Thereās probably an element of jingoism and xenophobia, fuelled by Social Media, as well.
IMHO that is
Id say its a failure of the trad parties to address issues that really matter to people and Reform are pushing them to the front. maybe that is because reform are seen as outsiders and not caught up in the Westminster bubble yet.
And conveniently forgetting The Brexit Partyās performance as MEP politicians. Doesnāt bode well when Farage seems more interested in raking in extracurricular earnings than being in his constituency and Lowe posting crap
(saw a post from Lowe on LinkedIn a couple of days ago - I donāt know if I was more offended about his comments about all migrants or that he still has Ex Chairman of Southampton FC front and centre of his account)
Or we could go even more bat-shit crazy
If Trump can do itā¦
As a one issue party, I would say they, ultimately, were very successful.
Iām not sure what to make of Reform, however I wonāt be underestimating them.
