:labour: šŸŒ… Red Dawn - Life Under Labour

Lets allow the criminals to go free to cut down on crime?

What they should do is build more prisons and lock the fuckers up for longer

Increase in building work and prison officer jobs and if they get Portugese women prison officers I am sure they will not be worried about being locked up longer.

To be fair this was on the cards when the Tories were in (Rishi quashed it because of voter unpopularity) Kier when to great lengths at PMQs to berate the govt about not releasing violent criminals

Kier can’t seem to answer that question anymore

When did any UK Government or for that matter, large corporate entity invest in that sort of infrastructure?

I am still not posting that vid on here. :rage::rage::smile:

Starmer can’t be a proper football fan. :rage::rage: Nobody celebrates their team scoring like this…

I may post it in your name, if you don’t….

Tbf because of the ā€œadult interestā€ nature of said recording perhaps people should DM you….

That’s exactly what I suggested, but our fellow users appear to be somewhat more conservative in their outlook than I had realised.:smile::smile:

What…?

Interesting that James Timpson (the key cutting magnate) has been appointed Prison Minister

He has probably rehabilitated more ex cons that the entire probation service put together

Ed has had a busy week - he has busted pushed through a massive solar farm in Norfolk

Dale Vince must be thinking his Ā£5m was well spent if that’s how it’s going down

It was inspired to put someone in a role that they might actually know something about.

Good work Labour :+1:

Yep - you would hope on the subject of criminals, Kier knows what he is talking about

The key cutting skills will come in handy for the early release program :+1:

I read a bit more on this - 10% (660 people) of the Timpsons workforce are ex cons - that’s an incredible number

And everyone is treated well

Interesting given the bundles of cash the Tories used to take for granted. Tory donors clearly saw the wind was changing.

Not really Labour related but cor, in this day and age we’re still sticking to outdated / outmoded oaths - and the establishment will boot you out if you don’t kowtow - sad and pathetic, imho of course

If you think about it, 95% of parliaments procedures are outdated - the ceremony and pomp etc. the early day motions, PMQs - what use does that serve, etc etc

The issue is not so much that it is required by the king - more that it was enshrined in law made in another period and one that no one felt the need to change (not least because it kept sinn Fein out)

Yep agreed - too many traditionalist hang on to those procedures as if the UK would fall apart without them.

Need someone to rip it all up and start again - maybe move Parliament out of Westminster and let all of those who can’t adapt stay as employees of a retro theme park?
