Yes, I find this hard to understand this. Have you ever tried to get a bottle of water in, jeez! Also it is much easier to get into football stadiums with the new technology which means you just scan a ticket. You do have to be a member though, but I am sure these groups could purchase one.
You used to get frisked going through the turnstile I do believe that both the bombs were outside the stadium, so relatively safe inside still. But if they can beat the system…

I find Barry’s religious ramblings a little difficult to digest, particularly those that claim some sort of moral superiority for faiths like Christianity because they’ve apparently sorted out all of the issues that he criticises Islam for. Right? Right?
Christianity hasn’t been a crusading force for issues like gay rights. If anything, the present schism in Anglicanism should illustrate that as a faith, it is still deeply uncomfortable with the issue. Catholicism doesn’t really feature much in the way of equality for women, and has even less room, officially at least, for gay people.
All these great tolerant features of Western society were developed in spite of religion, not because of it. In conclusion, the issue has got bugger all to do with religion per se, and everything to do with the interpretation of religion.
Christianity isn’t much further advanced than Islam, if at all. If anything, it’s the lack of importance it now has in our day to day lives that have allowed us to shed some of its dodgier teachings.

So many posts on here show the fundamental reason why the West can be destroyed by extremism.
Opinion, sentiment and grieving all take place from a background of one’s upbringing and experience - the filter that you see the world from.
The joy of individuality, of “free speech” of holding your own views defended so resolutetly in the “West”.
All of which fail to comprehend the simple fact. This is not about Islam, it is about a Totalitarianism that makes Orwell and Hitler apeear to be extrem liberals.
One person’s Interpretation of words written many centuries ago. ONE PERSON.
ONE PERSON who chooses to ignore huge swathes of the actual core tenets of Islam. ONE PERSON who then is given FREEDOM to express HIS views under the tenets that you hold so dear. You could never call him out, you would have been a Racist. This INTERPRETATION has been allowed to ferment in YOUR societies since the 1980’s.
ONE idiot, ONE PERSON, gains people who agree with HIS views. (Well, many on here agree with Corbyn or Cameron and argue vehemently against each other) ONE PERSON who simply says “MY VIEW IS THE ONLY VIEW”.
The West allowed those views to spread like a cancer and now in the same way that WW2 had Nazi Stormtroopers, as the Vietnam War had atrocities by US (and Vietcong forces) that belief has been instilled.
You will not negotiate with them. A Jew could never have negotiated with a crack SS death squad, you will simply be squashed like a bug.
It is too late NOW to wring your hands and call for dialogue, that is like discovering you have cancer and cry “oh why did I smoke for 30 years?” - it is too late.
There is only one end game, this is only stopped one way. Extremists simply have to be exterminated. They have to be jailed for preaching hate, they have to be told “If you want Shaira Law then seek asylum in a country that grants that to you”.
Their Mosques, their Schools of hate must all be destroyed and passed to REAL Muslims to manage.
This week’s solution is to stabilize Syria. Genius. They’ll all bugger off to Afghanistan or Libya.
The World is at War with extremism. Muslim Nations are at War with extremism (but “Do Good” Western Politicians still put their head up and complain about Saudi’s fighting Al Qaeda in Yemen for example)
EXTREMISTS follow no rules. You do not Negotiate with them. They want to DESTROY every right that you hold so close.
Wake up ffs.
Oh and while we are on the subject, I have not seen one single snippet about the 47 killed and almost 300 injured by IS in Beirut on Sky. Perhaps there is a reason there is one agenda?

An interesting insight, much to take in there - this is an incredibly complex issue.
My simple hope is that people understand that these radicalised guys are not real Muslims and didn’t murder in the name of Islam, in much the same was as the odd psychopath who kills prostitues because God tells him to isn’t representing Christianity.
The Paris murders broke all sensible rules of Islam - do not confuse this suicide squad with the peaceful mainstream religion.
Unless of course your agenda is to keep the glorious British Empire pure from multiculturalism and anyone who is different, then feel free to link the two.
Chuck in some half-baked thoughts on refugees who are fleeing ISIS and it might even sound a little bit like a fact - in a Daily Mail sort of way.
