Panama Offshore accounts

I’ve been unfortunate enough to meet Clarkson a few times over the years and on just about every occasion he did a very good impression of someone who is a cunt.

I was fortunate to meet Jezza some 20 odd years ago when he had the seat across the aisle from me in the (then) smoking section at the back of an Emirates flight - yeah he was in economy!

We talked shit, football, pubs & clubs and got mashed for 8 hours on the way down here. He asked me to park my beaten up Landrover at the Creek and sneaked it onto the the Rainbow Sheikh episode way back in the day.

All round good lad at that time.

Personally I like Clarkson and Top Gear. It was a well written, entertaining program. I also really enjoy it when people are too narrow minded to understand that people enjoy different things, but think because they don’t like something or someone, then they can speak down to them or just throw insults. Always tend to be of the same political persuasion as well. Coincidence? I think not.

Well, there is fantastic news for young sir.

You can watch the old bastard tear up Amazon video on his new shopmobility scooter.

And I will!

Perfect ending to his career, really. Going off to work a firm most known for dodging tax on a massive scale. Stay classy, Clarkson.

I assume you’ve never used Google, Amazon, Starbucks or Facebook, cos if you have…

They don’t pay my wages, Cherts.

Back on topic. Sanders called this years ago. Don’t think that this has been posted here yet.

Makes no difference in my eyes, by using them and their products you’re turning a blind eye to their financial practices. The thing is, if you’re going to criticise people to the extent you do, I’d suggest you are whiter than white, as otherwise you just end up looking like a hypocrite.

In your eyes, possibly.

Let’s review what those eyes are seeing. You’re comparing occasional patronage of various services with choosing to earn your living from a company that elects to pay no tax in this country.

I don’t trust those eyes.

Now even if we all wanted to avoid these services altogether, and I often do - Norris Green ARGOS gets more of my business than Amazon ever does, it may end up that you can’t avoid paying them anyway, even if indirectly. If you pay a firm that pays for Google, you’re paying for Google.

You finished your last post with an assertion that everyone must be whiter than white to have an opinion. I don’t think that’s true. I actually think it’s something of a ridiculous demand.

It is sometimes accurate to say that going in half-cocked can make you look a full cock. Perhaps a concept to glance at with those eyes.

sarb is criticising pap, but he’s still using his products BOOM!

No, I didn’t say you had to be whiter than white to have an opinion. I said you have to whiter than white to criticise. Subtle, but very important difference there.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree. If you directly use those products, and especially purchase from those outlets, then criticising someone from making money from them (whether they be a barista, a supplier of goods at Amazon etc) is very hypocritical. At least Clarkson will be paying income tax, which is in fact helping the economy, as otherwise that money wouldn’t be spent here.

I don’t want to be in The Good Life. I want modern conveniences like internet shopping and yummy coffee.

I also wish to reserve the right to moan about these cunts if they are avoiding tax.

I also want to avoid paying tax.

Cherts, I know we disagree on a lot of things, but I do like ya.

In this spirit, I have to warn you that you are getting close to going full Mensch Fallacy.

Never go full Mensch Fallacy bro.

FFS, I’m going to have to go look that up. Give us 5.

Edit: Lol, I remember that. The issue I have is that if you’re going to criticise one person for taking a salary from Amazon (ie Clarkson), then surely others should be (ie those that work for Amazon, sell goods on Amazon etc). In addition to that, if you know about Amazon dodging tax (and find it as abhorrent as Pap does), using them AFTER this point when due to capitalism, we have a massive choice of where to get out Mini HDMI cables from, I think that’s hypocritical. I don’t know how someone can argue against that.

Cherts bro, I respect your a decison to like the clarkson-cunt species and enjoying their programming. I too at one time considered his output entertaining and indeed, it can not be said that TG was not without humour or some merit… however, I did eventually struggle with his flipant and dismissive attitude to (real ordeliberately ‘provocative’) issues, people, race… etc. The ‘sniggereing’ schoolboy-at-the-back-of-the-class attiutude that a grown man should have long grown out of - and why he has elevated status for naive immature provocative juvenile to fully flegded cunt.

…also did you not find TG rather repetitive? I am all for simple entertainment without the need to think that much to help unwind, but the joke does wear a bit thin after the 10th caravan destroyed, or 12th race across EU in £xxx cars… and his general cuntish behaviour
