I can see wins for Palace, Huddersfield and Newcastle today.
We could be cut adrift by the new year if we aren’t careful.
tbh that beating that 17 point record low total is looking is looking a tough ask
Yup. It’s time to get the Christmas tree out of storage and I might as well grab the plastic sheets too whilst I’m there.
All full times
Crystal Palace | 2 - 0 | Burnley |
Huddersfield Town | 1 - 2 | Brighton & Hove Albion |
Leicester City | 2 - 0 | Watford |
Manchester City | 3 - 1 | AFC Bournemouth |
Newcastle United | 0 - 3 | West Ham United |
Not pretty reading that table
Any win takes us to 16th
Any draw takes us to 17th
Caveat if we had 9 points
2nd caveat I’ve been drinking
Another good win for Leicester, up to 7th. I know it is easy to be wise after the event, but the decision to sack Puel after one season when we finished top 10 and got to a Wembley final is starting to look like a bad one. I know from talking with mates who support a variety of teams that they find it increasingly bizarre, given how we have stunk the place out since he left. With hindsight he didn’t deserve the sack, it was his first season managing in the Premiership and he surely did as well as could be expected. It could be said that he exceeded that when you compare the results since.
Totally agree.
Except what he provided for us to watch was awful anti-football. LCFC have never been one of the more pleasing sides to watch and fit his style.
It was not a bizarre sacking, more a bizarre appointment because his style clearly did not suit us.
Chelsea leading Fulham at HT so we’ve not hit bottom yet…
We are third bottom Phil so that won’t happen today anyway! Whoop whoop!
Chelsea won 2-0
Tottenham are currently 2-1 up against Arsenal, after Arsenal took the lead.
2-2 Arsenal Tottenham
Cracking goal by Aubayemang
4-2 Arse. Vertongen off. Misses saints game. Rather it had been Kane or Eriksen.
As always well give Eriksen acres of space outside our box Wednesday night
Liverhampton pull off a winner right at the end of injury time (7mins)
Unlucky for Everton, but tbf it was Pickford’s error.
