It’s decisions like this that make VAR a laughing stock. The fact that the ref thought it was a pen in real time was even more ridiculous.

Absolutely. If VAR isn’t going to overrule a clearly wrong decision, what is it there for in the first place??..
…oh, hang on. It’s there to give the “big” clubs even more of an unfair advantage, isn’t it. I nearly forgot.

I suspect they’ll be less elated come the end of the game. But you never know, Palace are good value for their lead.
