Neves did his team no favours at all by diving. They were all half expecting the foul to be given, I reckon even the keeper was a bit distracted. It was a clear dive trying to buy a free kick which the ref didn’t fall for.

Yes, the replays did actually show he’d caught him. It looked at the time like a massive dive, probably because Neves stayed on his feet, looked at the ref a yard away and then fell over.
