The bird was puzzling earlier about why the Estonian national anthem was played before the game. I couldn’t think why they had.
Half time arrives, and she says “there it is again!” I point out that rather than singing “Estonia”, it’s actually “the champions”.
Bird duly embarrassed, until I confess that for some years I thought they were saying “lasagne”.

Reviewing my goal at HT and no mater what the “expert” ref says, it was a goal…everyone else thinks it was too.
