Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard has topped the Sky Sports Power Rankings after a scintillating run of form during the festive schedule.
Lingard scored with the match-winner at West Brom in mid-December, assisted Juan Mata at Leicester, netted twice to salvage a point against Burnley on Boxing Day and scored his seventh this term at Everton on New Year’s Day.
Chelsea wing-back Marcos Alonso has also hit form in front of goal, scoring in three of his last five games - including a decisive free-kick against Southampton.
Manchester City’s top scorer Raheem Sterling scored five and claimed one assist from four starts, while City stopper Ederson kept three clean sheets during the festive schedule.
West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic soared up the chart with four goals and one assist since mid-December, but missed the 1-1 draw at Tottenham through illness.
Meanwhile, Dele Alli hit form with two goals and four assists during the festive schedule, while, Riyad Mahrez maintained his purple patch with two goals and three assists from the four games.
Crystal Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic netted his fourth goal of the season with a late winner at Southampton, while Roberto Firmino represented Liverpool among the top 10.
Philippe Coutinho ended his Liverpool career at No 10 in the chart, having joined Barcelona for £146m on Monday.

Southampton Football Club is pleased to announce that teams from around the world have signed up for the next edition of The Southampton Cup.
The five-day international youth tournament, which is being hosted in the city and surrounding area, will involve boys’ and girls’ teams from around the globe, featuring Under-11, Under-12, Under-13, Under-14 and Under-16 categories, with sides from Sweden, Thailand and USA already signed up.
Following on from the inaugural event in 2017, the latest edition of The Southampton Cup will get under way on Tuesday 31st July, with teams playing five games over the five-day competition period. The tournament will conclude with a celebration event at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday 4th August.
As well as the international youth tournament, Saints will also be running a grassroots Community Tournament as part of the event, which will allow for Under-7 to Under-10 boys’ and Under-9 to Under-13 girls’ teams from the local area to be part of The Southampton Cup. A separate registration form and details for the Community Tournament will be released later this month.
We are urging all remaining teams wishing to take part in The Southampton Cup International Youth Tournament to complete an entry form as soon as possible to ensure they don’t miss out on what will be a fantastic festival of football.
