Think your knowledge of Southampton Football Club is good? Well, now’s the time to put it to the test, with this year’s Big Saints Quiz!
Saints Foundation’s fantastic event is back again for 2017, with club legend Matt Le Tissier hosting it, alongside a member of Mauricio Pellegrino’s first-team squad, who will be announced nearer the time.
This year’s edition will take place at St Mary’s Stadium, on Wednesday 4th October, from 7.30pm.
Teams of four are invited to enter, with participants to be tested on a range of Saints trivia, as well as their general football knowledge.
Entry is just £15 per person, with free pizza being provided on the night, and all the money raised will go to Saints Foundation and their work in tackling a wide range of issues for young people and adults at risk in the community.

We pride ourselves on the fact that St Mary’s is a welcoming family-friendly stadium where fans come to enjoy watching football, regardless of their age, disability, gender, race or sexual orientation.
To ensure we keep St Mary’s that way, this season, as part of our One March equality initiative, we’ve introduced a new text number that will make it easy for you to report any instances of discrimination or abuse that you witness in the stadium or at an away match.
To report anything you see or hear at a game, simply text onemarch to 60060 with a description of what you’ve witnessed and your location so we can tackle it appropriately and discreetly.
We love the Premier League, which is celebrating its 25th birthday, but it is worth a reminder every now and then that English football did indeed exist before 1992.

Saints kick-start their 2017/18 campaign against Swansea City at St Mary’s on Saturday, and the Polish defender is looking forward to starting a fresh season with his new team mates.
“We are all looking forward to it,” started Bednarek.
“I think everyone is ready to handle it and play their best. It’s very nice that we can play our first game at home because we will be able to feel the support of our fans.
“I feel very nice in this team. All of my team mates are very friendly and everyone in the club has been very good to me. I can’t wait for the first game.”
Bednarek arrived on a five-year deal from Polish side Lech Poznań on July 1st - just a week after Mauricio Pellegrino was appointed Sants’ new first team manager.
And having now spent a month working under the Argentine, Bednarek is confident he is the man to take the club forward.
“As a team we have already improved with him,” he continued.
“He is a very good guy; a very good person and coach. I think we can continue to improve and become a better team with him.
“That’s the point: to keep working, to listen to what he has to say to us and to be a better team and better players.”

Southampton’s players have hit the streets to sell a special edition of The Big Issue.
Nathan Redmond, Manolo Gabbiadini, Oriol Romeu and Florin Gardos joined forces with vendors to sell the famous paper in Winchester on Tuesday.
The Saints quartet all donned the Big Issue vests and tried to sell the special edition, which will be handed out at Saturday’s Premier League opener with Swansea.
It is part of a special partnership between the two organisations, which will provide opportunities for vendors in the local community.
I could see how hard these guys have to work – they’re out in all weather," Nathan Redmond said.
"It’s not easy and I have huge respect for them. It was great to meet the guys and be involved in a partnership where two great organisations like Southampton and the Big Issue can achieve so much together.”
Vendor Lee Barnes added: "It’s been amazing to meet the players, and the day has been full of lots of handshakes and smiles.
“I have never sold as many Big Issues in such a short period of time. It’s been absolutely class.”
As part of the project, vendors will be given the chance to enroll in an eight-week programme with Saints Foundation, which will hopefully provide them with placements across the club.
