-33 GD is a spectularly new level of shite.
And, of course, it will get worse!
Two 9-0s, this GD, and record runs of defeats, our team appears to be the worst PL team of all time over a period of two years.
It seems like yesterday I was watching a 9-3 home win, and reading everything I could get hold of about drubbing Sunderland with 8 goals. I still remember scoring 6 against West Ham, and beating Man United.
Sadly, we all know what has gone wrong, and whilst relegation is deserved, no doubt in my mind it was always avoidable, stating with letting Ralph go at the end of last season.
I have subjected myself to watching the âhighlightsâ, think their second goal was totally preventable, first shot going about 6 yards wide but AMN decides to keep the ball active with a shit clearance rather than let it roll through his legs for a goal kick. I think both penalties were very soft but theirs certainly killed the game off whilst ours had no bearing on the result whatsoever. All moot as even a win was never going to help us at this stage, but it would have been nice to have a strong finish to the season. Other than KWP, JWP and Walcott I feel no connection to any of these players, and I donât think those 3 will be with us next season anyway.
