As much as bazza is a bellend, he obviously isn’t saying that football is more important than life or anything like that. What he’s saying is that it’s weak to fall back on “there’s more important things…”. And in that sense, a couple of hours ago, I agreed with him because I had just witnessed a shocking performance from Saints.
