:pl: :newcastlefc: Newcastle United v Saints :saints:

See, this is what worries me more than anything. Play well, ought to win, walk away mugged and with fuck all. We won’t play much better than that this season.

Apart from the few great spells, this has been the Southampton way. We’re back at base level, but in a much healthier state to “go again”(sorry, but that’s our lot).
We have some very good players, so the need to build is in very obvious areas. Managers decent and likes to build. Perfect match and possible longevity.

But if we play as a team, we’ll play like that far more regularly.

I understand your concerns, but who expected to be gutted we didn’t win before kick off?
The last few weeks have made me far more positive.

Eric said hello at half time and now I’m very drunk.

BTW that reminds me, can someone please contact the club and get them to revoke @ericofarabia’s home and away ticket buying rights. Can we also ensure that he never goes to a match again…

That’s right, blame the elderly :angry::grin:

I cannot express my joy enough that Eric has finally taken the burden of being the (dwindling) Dubai Saints Jonah.

A bit worrying that Redmond seems to have reverted back to his old profligate ways. I had hoped that those days were behind him.

Redmond is so following the development of Sterling, just 2 or 3 years behind- it is purely a confidence thing.
Hopefully his confidence will mimic Sterling 2019/20 not Frazer Forster 2017/18…

Forster was brilliant for Celtic yesterday. Even saved a penalty.

I must admit my record this season so far of 0-3 at Burnley, 1-3 and 1-2 at Citeh, 1-2 at Newcastle, with only the 1-1 at Wolves not being a defeat, isn’t very impresive!! Aggregate of P5 W0 D1 L4. F4 A11.:poop:
In the away games that i didn’t go to the results Brighton 2-0, Fulham 1-0, Sheffield Utd 1-0, Shytesmuff 4-0, and just the loss at Spurs 1-2 to ruin the list. P5 W4 D0 L1 F9 A2 …

The bad news is I’m going to Villa!! Don’t bother putting any money on Eastleigh tomorrow, I’m going down to Crewe to see the and have a few beers with a Crewe STH who I’ve not seen for about 10 years. He’ll be delighted to know Crewe are as good as through already.
