Where’s David Cameron when you need him?

You’ve got David Cameron coming for Christmas Dinner???

Off to the Mall later.
Just deciding which will be most useful for getting through the crowds…

:innocent::wink::roll_eyes::sunglasses:
Fair play to today’s lads on tour, shooting range trip rather than Xmas Market
Glock, Uzi, AK47 & Pump action Shotgun instead of Gluhwein

BOOM!
GET IN!

Sorted

You need to get out more, mate.

Who knew that Alan Carr made crackers?

He didn’t make them he selected them from his rooms full of crackers as its Christmas.

Out more?
I’ve probably looked in almost 200 bloody shops since I found the Stilton in September.
Polish dont have anything close to them.
We know we have to make our own Bread Sauce but cracker making wasn’t gonna happen!

The TV are broadcasting RED warnings for Extreme Snow overnight across the whole region.
Up to 20cm in Zakopane.
Woo hoo!! White Christmas.

Oh shit I have to take clients there tomorrow.
Might need my Wellies!

I sense a win-win possibility here. I really don’t like those curtains (they came from my ever-loving wife’s old house when she moved in here, before she met me). They are, as can be seen, full length and therefore have plenty of material to cover Bletch’s magnificently voluminous torso. And, as luck would have it, our living room has two more windows, so the curtains from those would almost certainly have enough for the arms, and may even stretch to a collar.

And then I’ll be able to get some curtains that I like. Yes, win-win it certainly is.

As a reply I have something forming in my mind involving your wife’s curtains, but I’m too much of a gentleman to labia that point.

Christmas has come early for Chelsea…leading 0 - 2 at Spuds after a Gazzaniga gave them a pen. Now Son has been shown a red and the Spuds crowd accused of racist chants or summint.

I have started the Christmas wrapping and just wrapped a book like that video that went viral. Winning at this Christmas lark. Oh and having a Baileys too.

Does Bletch know you’re wrapping presents with one of his shirts?

Ah. I have some “cultural differences” information.

It had been doing my head in that every Choinki Stall was still packed out with Christmas Trees

It turns out that here in Poland the “Tradition” is that the Tree is put up and “dressed” on Christmas Eve.

Not only that, the Tree then STAYS up until 2nd of FEBRUARY!

As usual seems I may have come to soon to the festivities.

I can cope with that. What I can’t quite get my head around is that Tinsel doesn’t exist over here…

We have some from our Dubai Trees but nope, not allowed to erect it!

Update:

Pretty obvious really. 2nd February is Candlemas.

Candlemas, also known as the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus Christ and the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a Christian Holy Day commemorating the presentation of Jesus at the Temple. It is based upon the account of the presentation of Jesus in Luke 2:22–40. Wikipedia

Date: Sunday, February 2, 2020

Significance: Commemoration of the presentation of Jesus at the Temple

Observed by: Christians

Also called: Feast of the Presentation of Jesus Christ, Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary

I bought 30 metres of the paper so sure I could give some to @saintbletch to fashion a shirt with.
It is a lovely pattern. I’d wear it.

Getting back in the warm where this cold wet shit doesn’t keep going down my neck…

Having left it late, today is the day I’ve started to feel a bit Christmasy. Tree has gone up, presents wrapped, wine drunk. The tree makes the house feel warmer. All the lovely lights and whatnot are great and make me think we should keep them up all year round. One more present to buy tomorrow, will prep some food and do some cleaning ready for the family visit. I do love a Christmas get together.
