I’m a MASSIVE Corbyn fan + I have been v.active in recruiting new members for him (i.e. at Whitehall they call me “the Corbyn Harvester”) but even I have to admit he’s had a v.disappointing start. He’s only been in charge a few months, and already I’ve lost my jerb, spudders has lost his jerb, and it looks like Lou is gonna lose her jerb, and on top of that of course Redslo’s cat died. And then there’s all the stuff in Paris too, I suppose. I’m not angry, just disappointed.
Made I larf, sorry
Ah, Newsthump takes a swipe at everyone. And they’ve gone out to bat for him before, in their own special way.

the issue this time is Corbyns planned attendance of the Stop the War xmas dinner, which normally wouldnt have been a problem up until the point they posted the tweet about Paris reaping the whirlwind.
I’m not even sure why it’s an issue. There’s nothing incorrect about that statement; it’s entirely keeping (and a hell of a lot weaker) than some of the other material they print. It’s also a version of what they’ve been saying all along. Corbyn too.
Well at least you’re honest about it, which is more than Corbyn has been. But it astounds me that you don’t see an issue with making that statement.
The Stop The War coalition are a bunch of vile hypocrites.
Oh and while I’m at it. Ken Livingstone. Vile fucking hypocrite.
What’s wrong with Ken, Lou?
Very well explained case which I’m sure will change a few minds.
Apologies, I assumed you’d seen the news. In case not:
Do you really believe you have the capability for your mind to be changed, Pap? I haven’t seen evidence of that yet.
I had, but not everyone has, and your comment may well be read in the future when the context is not as clear.
He was out of order for making the comment. It evidently took awhile to bring him around to that, but he’s offered an unreserved policy after being ordered to do so by Corbyn.
So that’s “Red Ken” Livingstone, defier of Thatcher, Blair and the entire New Labour Party, standing as an independent to trounce Frank Dobson in the mayoral contest, ostensibly and characteristically unrepentant throughout the day, performing a u-turn on the orders of a man who can’t control his party.
Terrible day at the office
Well, that’s progress. Good to know you thought him out of order.
My mind is always changing. Working it out for yourself is what it’s all about, I reckon. If there’s no personal progression as a result of that, what’s the point?
I’m not running around with the same fucking ideas I had in my head when I was thirteen Well, apart from best Alien film, anyways.
Word. Check school photos thread Lou, pap clearly changed his mind re: mullet haircuts, although not, admittedly, by v.much.
I thought Pap had beautiful cheekbones. Very photogenic. Could have been a child model.
But I’ve not seen much evidence of mind being changed no matter the evidence put forward. There’s a whole lot of messages starting with the phrase… ‘I thought Corbyn handled it really well…’ on this forum…
Mullets are completely unacceptable in my eyes now, except for humourous and nostalgic self-flagellation (with photography by intiniki).
yo pap, shut Lou up yeah? What is ur top 5 Corbyn Blunders So Far?
I like Ken. He’s one of my favourites. An enemy of Ken is an enemy of mine.
That’s just mean. A tenner he can’t do it.
Goodio.
yeah, i mean, i don’t get it. If I said someone needed mental help, and they was like, yeah, actually I do, I have v.Depression, I would be so pumped that I managed to help! Why should Dr. Livingstone (I presume) be ashamed of his clinical acuity?
