80% of the Labour MP’s (172) have voted for a motion of no confidence in Jeremy Corbyn.
As I said when he was elected, he wouldn’t last until the next election.

I completely agree we were talking in our office yesterday and everyone agreed that if he is the labour leader they have no chance in the next election.
He is just unelectable as prime minister
My Mrs, and most of her friends as well, are “soft left”. None, not one, would vote for Corbyn.
These are women who voted for Blair then voted Clegg and then either didn’t vote or voted tory last time around. Without winnng back the centre and soft left the Labour party will be allowing, willfully, the tories to rip our country apart.
Sorry, but I think the Labour party members are firmly behind Corbyn even if MPs aren’t. There’s definitely a lot of strongarming going on within the party to force this vote through but I think Corbyn will rightfully ignore it as he still has the support of the party membership.
When he talks about people being sick of the same old politics, he’s referring to shit like this.
Which is why the tories will increase the majority, lurch to the right and fuck us all in the arse but with no lube.
In fact, I see a Gang of 4 moment coming.
And the first ones they fuck will be those who voted for Corbyn.
Have you two gentlemen actually looked at the results or at the very least, considered the hypocrisy of the rebel’s reason for launching the debate?
They’re not unhappy because they think he’s unelectable. The official reason is that they thought he didn’t do enough to secure the Remain vote. So, Jeremy Corbyn, electable only if he tried, eh?
The truth is that they know he’s electable, particularly after four more years of austerity and whatever freaks the Tories get onto the front benches. They can’t really have that. That’s why they keep saying he can’t win.
Tell a lie. Make it big. People will believe it.
If he rocks up to the next election with a costed promise for council housing, rail nationalisation and saving the NHS by bringing it back into public ownership, the Tories and New Labour are fucked and they know it.

If they Politician bros have learned anything from Brexit, it’s that you must never, ever, give plebs the opportunity to vote for what they want.
LaLa land. They’ll be an election this year and he’ll be destroyed and the tories will run riot, Labour will implode and you can kiss goodbye to everything we cherish.
Think a general election is a real possibility this year, which is another reason that the Labour MPs are trying to get this challenge together.
As someone that has got a great deal of time for him, I accept that this is a hugely perilous time for both wings. I can see some interesting CLP meetings coming up. Not going to be hard to work out, despite the cowardly secret ballot.
Honestly, they’re a shower of cunts that have no respect for democracy. Didn’t respect the will of their own membership. Haven’t accepted the result of the EU referendum.
And yet, they expect us to expect a result of a symbolic vote that they conducted in secret?
Fuckers. Let’s see what Blairite Teflon twat they put up this time. How about Alan Johnson, Furball’s old fave?
His last job was keeping the Labour vote in the EU. Electable

I think it’s clear - vote Bearsy - He tells it like it is.
if he can do that without sending the deficit into orbit or landing everyone with a ruinous level of tax, I’ll bloody vote for him!!!
All the more reason to hold the line here.
WikiLeaks @wikileaks#Corbyn coup is a forced move for Blairites. #Chilcot on July 6. MPs who pushed Iraq war face ruin and risk charges if leader talks it up.
The sooner they party splits, leaving the zealots in a rump, the sooner the centre left can get ready to defeat the tories and the Corbyn brigade won’t ever be able too.
They confuse Jezzas popularity amongst the membership with popularity where it counts, in the centre where the vast majority of voters sit.
Their, frankly, odd take on reality is going to allow a very right wing government to do what they want and they’ll have to watch from the sidelines as everything we hold dear is destroyed.
As much as I like Corbyn and have supported him, it’s now got to the point that he should go for the good of the party. The Labour Party can’t be considered a viable alternative with this sort of bullshit. A new party called The Real Labour Party, led by Corbyn against a more electable party is the only option.
Probably should ask this in the Conservative thread but do you think that they will also lose votes in next election? Will the more right wing members move to UKIP more? Giving them less chance of a majority? I just wonder if the future will be a few more political parties and more coalitions.
I like him and I like his politics but I like being in government more.
They will get a large part of the UKIP vote back but lose votes for policies in place. They will increase their majority against a disorganised rabble.
He should stay on and fight, which I understand they cannot prevent him from doing. When there is no vacancy, the incumbent is on the ballot automatically.
He has done little wrong, imo - and with the shit that has already been thrown at him, he’ll be practically bullet-proof by the time the GE rolls around.
Why should those hundreds of thousands of members be overridden by 172 bitter fuckers that realise the gravy train is pulling into the terminus?
Political nerve is required here.
