:labour: New Old Labour in trouble

I think Tom Watson’s keeping his head down. Haven’t heard a peep out of him since he was roasted by all sides after the parliamentary child abuse court case. I have seen a couple of reports speculating that he may have questions to answer from Old Bill. Dame Margaret and Ruth Smeeth will have to work double shifts now to cover for him!

Labour councillor suspended for suggesting Rachel Riley might be batting for the Israel lobby.

I am glad that Politics Home had the good sense to put quotes in their headline around a certain word.

Yep otherwise it would have been anti-semitic. :lou_facepalm_2:

Well it kinda shows that they don’t really think that the article is AS.

Riley herself, if you dig into it, calls it racist. How the fuck is what that councillor said racist?

Riley is making a right spunk trumpet of herself on Twitter.

Looks like the Livingstone play all over again. Keep someone in perma-suspension to be used as a prop whenever someone wants to raise the “issue” again.

I’d still give them 50/50 in that scenario :lou_wink_2:

My old man has voted Labour all his life and seen a Tory voted in every time.

I think Corbyn has got some tremendous retail policy.

It’s just a shame that the “Europhiles” around him will wreck any chances of that policy being implemented.
