Apparently Hassenhuttl is favourite at the moment (and he was at the Bristol game).
Others mentioned include Michael Carrick, Lee Carsley, Gareth Southgate, Ole Solskjaer, Steven Gerrard, Russell Martin (!!!) and Liam Rosenior.

Yeah of course the senior players want him back, they’re afraid we’ll get someone who wants them to train harder. Anyway the possession game is a busted flush.
Wouldn’t mind a refreshed Ralph back at the club. Unfortunately Cooper is at Brondby now otherwise he’d be my preferred choice.
It’s true Solak trying to destroy us
Dream Team lined up to replace Still.
Roy Keane & Gary O’Neil
You heard it here last
Steve Cooper
And another name popped up in Lavia’s Instagram tonight in Saints kit. Who is available and could sign by Friday
It’ll be another cheap assed yes man gamble as we’re a clown club.

Redknapp is available
Brendan Rogers?
More likely that we will be singing “"…. …… used to be a skate but he’s alright now.”
As some are now saying we should not be so close minded to O’Neil as a manager because of his Pompey connections, I have several other issues.
The guy has two years of managerial experience with some limited success, he has yet to build and develop a squad. A project which is sorely needed at SFC. I feel he is a reactive manager choosing to playing counter-attacking football. For which you need a solid midfield and defensive unit that can burst forward in numbers and at pace - I cannot remember the last time we were capable of any of that. Also this style of football has never been the “Southampton Way” and I see a resemblance to the Martin scenario.
Without the long-term experience we have no way of knowing whether he is capable of building a squad to transition, successfully, from the Championship to Premier League.
At both Bournemouth and Wolves he inherited squads which he managed to get a slightly better tune out of, again there is no history of squad development.
There are stories of his dressing room bust ups at Bournemouth - do we really need a confrontational character in the dressing room? I would suggest we need a firm hand that can bring the squad together.
His record is not that good - although he had a good start at both Wolves and Bournemouth there were also extreme periods of poor results, with Championship schedules falling into a rut, as we have seen, can be a difficult one to get out of.
In short I do not think we would be any better off under O’Neil than if we had kept with Still.
The manager coming in needs to be flexible now in order to get the best tune out of the squad we have, no doubt we will be able to bring in loans or sell and buy a couple of players in January to allow a new manager to install some style of play. That manager needs to have experience of growing/developing a squad. We need to explore short term opportunities to get us out of this league and ensure they are the right man for the job should we achieve promotion.
Two candidates that spring to mind - Graham Potter, was successful at building a squad and bringing youth through at Brighton, I think we need a clear thinker who can provide instruction and tasks to the team.
Secondly - Edin Terzic - I think he fits the development requirement having has some success at Dortmund before parting company with them. I think the latter option is a better cultural fit with the club, but he will need to be given some time
Not my words ^^^^ but I agree
