Good that you have returned to this small place of solace for the well adjusted and socially advanced fans of kicking the old bladder into the onion bag.
It was indeed good to see, if not unexpected, that the attitude of us old wind bags is that it’s great to see the club embrace unequivocal equality not just in brochures but on the pitch. Long may it continue is perhaps the wrong thing to say, as I would hope that eventually, these messages are no longer necessary

Absolutely. I do feel that things tend to progress with time (even if a significant portion of the populous have to be dragged kicking and screaming). Though that hope for the future is tinged with the sadness of seeing what some of my friends go through - often on a daily basis - in the here and now.
By-the-by, it would seem that the reaction on Twitter has been 95% supportive.

I think there is some good news, in that my daughter’s generation (she is 16) have been actively involved in things like Pride for several years, and so its just all part of normal life to them and so I do think they are not far off the Majority view being shifted for the better, even of there remain a minority of prejudiced bigots…

I’m in a similar position to you albeit with a few more decades under my belt. My peers are disparaging about taking the knee and suggesting it should stop.
I do try and educate them about them not knowing what others suffer but it does tend to fall on deaf ears.

Mind blowingly the designer revealed that it was 5 days between the contract being signed and the three kits being approved

Now, not ITK in any way but ‘the dark side’ website has us at a timeline of 4 hours till kit release. This is akin to awaiting an asteroid to hit the Earth. Unlike the asteroid, hopefully the kit timeline is correct!

Whilst I’m not particularly bothered about or wait eagerly for news of a new kit, I do find it odd that new signings are being announced and paraded alongside last years shirt.
Is there a good reason why it isn’t announced before the transfer window opens and new signings arrive? It ain’t like the requirement can sneak up on the club or Hummel when it happens every year.
There was a bright spark on Twitter who was saying there was going to be no new kit this year. I have yet to see any corroborating evidence to this claim however
