I had a MkII 2000 GT in purple with a black vinyl roof & leather seats. Bloody loved it
Until I needed to go anywhere - when it would invariably break down.
But what a car when it did go.
As long as there were no bends in the road.

My '69 didnāt have the luxury of power steering. It didnāt bother me until I got back from my first US holiday where all the rental cars I used were auto transmissions with power steering. I thought my Capriās steering had seized. 
One of the shit rentalsā¦a 1976 Plymouth Arrowā¦I dented the bonnet but thankfully the bonnet pushed out againā¦
