Picked up the suggestions from Ted and others about free movie streaming sites which include some of the latest films barely released on them. So gave Vumoo (and a couple of others) a go tonight and found a common theme:
upon trying to stream your selected film, you are taken to another site
the second site requires registration
then they want a credit card. At this point you are told it is only free for 5 days
once you are registered, you get taken to a site nothing like Vumoo (or whichever original site you thought you were on)
then you find out that the firm that you wanted, and which seemed to be available, is in fact not in their selection after all
I fully admit I am a novice at streaming via anything less well known than Netflix, so could well be doing something wrong, but it strikes me as bullshit so far.
Nope, that is not at all the experience I have had with them. I posted a link to the Vumoo site recently. I wouldn’t have done that if it was as you described. You’re doing something wrong.
Just found and used your link (to The Revenant) and had the same experience. Film starts to stream for a few seconds, then it ask for registration, which is in fact for a site called Lilplay.com. Once complete, it takes you to the Lilplay site, which is shit in comparison and no sign of any decent new films.
Then I have no idea what’s happening because that has never happened to me and I’ve seen loads of films from there. Maybe it’s a sign from God that you should pay to go to the cinema?
Right can help a few of you here as I have watched both The Revenant and Hateful Eight over the last 2 nights on a decent stream here -http://putlocker.is/featured/1
Thoughts on the films (no spoliers):
Revenant - Great film but the book is so much more (Michael Punke)
Hateful 8 - Was funny and enjoyable but left me wanting more at the end.
I tend to use a bittorrent client and donwnload my movies from a site with private trackers. means I can watch the films all I want and not worry about contention ratios. Can also stream to all my devices at home and externally via Plex.
