Yeah I tapped him on the shoulder and said, “Excuse me you’re well offside mate”
I’d probably have taken a 3-0 defeat before the game. Hey ho
Well…gifted then several of their goals. They never look a gift-horse in the mouth.
Played in a lower scoring game before and looked worse. Ball didn’t seem to fall our way tonight
Perfect.
Some lessons learned some minutes in Diallos’ legs, not embarrassed
And apart from probably Moussa a fullish squad for upcoming critical games
Yes we did, our defending was poor tonight, but at least we had a go. Probably an enjoyable game for the neutral. It has to be said, they are a very good side so no disgrace really.
Traitors.
Hmmm. Didn’t understand the team selection. So many out of position. Thought we actually played quite well first half. Gave away poor goals yet again. Have been ambivalent about the keeper situation but Forster has to be no 1 for the rest of the season. If Ralph had given up on the points why not play Ramsay at RB? Wasn’t expecting anything but at least City eased up and left the score relatively respectable.
Down be downhearted, for these reasons.
- They’re nouveau-riche chequebook cunts
- They cheat
- They’re owned by dictators
- They gave us one of our greatest days in a relegation dog-fight, when Bally thought he only needed a draw, a season after leaving us.
- They are no longer the lovable loser cunts of old.

Fair play to Southampton - they’ve given it a go, but Manchester City have just capitalised on their errors. It is very difficult to win games when you can’t defend.”
Even Barry couldn’t disagree…
Foden staying on his feet and trying to score rather than look for a penalty was pretty good to see (or hear) in this day and age where everyone try’s to game the officials. Respect due there I thought.
The kid has played one game and it was ManU away and look how it ended. You wanted him to play his 2nd at ManCity?
Are you Piers Morgan?
A bizarre game because we lost 2-5 but overall we played well, except for stupidly gifting them the second and a few moments of very poor defending.
But objective achieved. KWP rested fully, Armstrong, Diallo not full games. We played some good football in the right way. Keep doing that and we’ll be fine.
But a couple of observations. Mccarthy might have done better with at least one goal. Che should forget his big crossfield passes out of defence, Stephens isn’t a midfielder yet, Salisu will be good but has dodgy moments. Tella was great. Redmond was better. Djenepo is injured. Again.
In reality Che was played into that mess by Bertrand.
Equally - no BLAME on Bertie.
Playing out against the ress at that moment needed a RB to do a “Box Kick” with their right foot down the line which both our FB’s do regularly. Bertie simply couldn’t and had to pass inside to Che who was pressured and went the wrong way.
A mistake of context not ability
Didn’t you listen to Ralph’s presser?
Was very clear tbh hence the 18-0 jibes
I know, I know, but he is going to have to play against a quality team sooner or later!

“
Manchester City returned to winning ways in style with a thumping win over Southampton …”
Not exactly a 9:0 is it
Good to see Pep was magnanimous and gave us some great credit about how we played- esp in first half.
