Looks as though Sophie Walker of WEP, is currently running ahead of George Galloway for London Mayor.

Unsurprisngly, Khan looks to be some way ahead of Goldsmith with Sian Berry (Green) in 3rd ahead of the Lib Dem candidate, Valerie Pidgeon.

Aye, that also made me do a lol, Bear.

I sincerely hope you are right Mr T. :lou_wink_2:

Outside Highbury and Islington there was a woman from WEP asking us to use half our vote. So a few of us put them as our second vote.

Super Thursday followed by Rubbish Friday due to lack of in testing reporting on the results. Feels really muted.

Couldn’t vote until 9.55pm as wife at work. Had to leg it there. Subsequently voted for Town Councillor who won by a single vote from the Tories. My vote actually counted for once…

ms Berry got my first choice, and mr khan my second preference. Couldn’t bring myself to vote for him outright, but yeah any one but zack tbf

Well that took ages. Khan is mayor.

I like the way the Goldsmiths are now trying to distance themselves from their own campaign - it was obviously someone else’s fault that they tried to go hardcore and shot themselves in the foot.

A victory for hope over fear is how Khan is describing it - if so, nice one.

Don’t shit on the Shatner!

This is an interesting quote from a Tory:-

Andrew Boff, leader of the London Assembly Conservative Group, criticised Goldsmith after the polls closed on Thursday night.

Speaking on BBC’s Newsnight, he said: ‘I don’t think it was a dog whistle because you can’t hear a dog whistle. Everybody could hear this.

Seems I missed the Britain First candidate for mayor turned his back to Khan when he gave his speech. What an utterly contemptible, childish piece of shit. And one of his campaign team shouted “Britain has an extremist mayor”. Laughable. Maybe if his boss had won I’d agree.

Apparently he turned not cos he’s racist but as Khan is a vile man from the extreme left of Labour. How I’ve laughed at that.

He probably read Zac Goldsmith’s campaign literature.
