Okay, so Goatboy is on his way home, much alcohol was consumed. We got to the Arkles at a ridiculously early time, and would have been able to have gotten hammered if the place wasn’t so rammed later on. Burp didn’t have a ticket, but hung about in the pub and waited for us to emerge from the game. Senor Sanchez was also present and accounted for.
After the game, bundled back into the Arkles for a few to await arrival of ms pap. After a few more there, we all hit the Mathew Street end of town, Flanagan’s Apple being the first place we went to, pretty lively stuff for a Sunday night.
The PS4 was spun up for some PES action, and GB spent a good portion of the next hour moaning about it not being real football, and refusing to acknowledge what was going on.
Records were broken for drinking longevity.

On a related note, can I just offer a big thanks to anyone that turns up at these events, at any time. It was remarked upon yesterday that the social events are a huge part of who we are, and probably keep the place as nice as it is.
Even when we disagree, you rarely see an urge to destroy. It’s all down to the human factor, I reckon, so a big cheers to all that have made it; a stiff drink will be awaiting anyone that hasn’t.
Let’s make Sunday a record-breaker in terms of numbers.

I learnt yesterday that Burp lives in Stockport and likes fruity cider and where Martinique is and Goatboy likes French Polynesia for holidays…
Let’s see if I will be the exception the proves the rule at the Bournemouth game!!
BTW what are the plans for that, early drinks then run or drinks after the match into the night or both?

Twas good and I do now know that Pap doesn’t live in the posh part of Liverpool but does qualify as maniacally friendly although I do still have mental scars due to my ineptitude in quoting.
Goatboy is a mixture between a very mellow but not yellow fellow (we were in Scouseland) and Harry Enfield. *cough*
I’m sure there was someone else, but I’ve forgotten his name … 
And the trains out of Liverpool aren’t full of refugees for some strange reason but people who seemed to be able to cope with 5 am starts better than me.
