Well, it wasn’t 9-0 was it?
Not bothered about the result. I will be interested to see what sort of shape the team is in after the Crapari World Cup.

Reading the sky report, I was reassured about the players and the team - to give as good as you get in the second half against bin dippers is a creditable performance. We scored a goal, and had a good number of shots on goal.
I can now watch the highlights on sky without sticking pins in my effigy of Ralph.
I honestly think we are fucked. Reminds me of the final years of the Lowe times. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, the World Cup and see you for the second half of the season. I do not think it will be very good viewing, but of course I hope I am wrong, but in my experience of Saints I doubt it very much.
Worrying isn’t it. More so as the teams around us seem to have a bit more fight, guile and togetherness (not to mention goals and points). Not been to St Mary’s in a while but last time I was there the atmosphere was pretty toxic, be nice to see the fans get right behind the new manager and the team for the rest of the season.
We’re not in good shape, but it doesn’t remind me at all of that period. The group of players now is an entirely different demographic from back then.
I’m not saying we’ll avoid relegation though. The managerial appointment could be because the board really rate him and think he’ll do a job in the top flight. But it could also mean they’re expecting us to go down, and view him as a good championship manager. Time will tell.
“I know there’s a lot of work to do but I also know I’ve got a lot of tools moving forward,” said Jones.
Thats alienated half the team then.
