Liverpool v Saints, EFL Cup Semi Final, Second Leg

I’m in the bath and the same!

I’m not sure that I should be drinking this much rum on a school night.

Well, we should be at least 3 up…typical

"I lost count of the defenders Nathan Redmond has beaten. Brilliant. He slows them down and then takes them on. They are the better team, every time they come forward they create something.

Liverpool are getting a footballing lesson here."

Claude’s got that spot on.

The team is defending and moving forward as one.

Stephens doing well for such big shoes to fill in such a big game.

We’ve got to take our chances.

If we don’t get through, it will be hung around Claude’s neck, but it will have little to with him (ATM).

Late on, their right back is going to be vulnerable.

Why one minute added on? No stoppages.

Bloody good first half…composed in defense…threatening in attack…limp in front of goal.

Redmond playing like a REAL footballer…his best game for Saints so far.

We can do this Scousehampton look ordinary.

Good first half! Impressed how we’ve played through them and their high press at times. Need a goal tho srs

Yes we should be ahead but how many genuine scary moments have we had from the mighty scousers? Yep. None. Fuck you.

Come on Saints.

Is that the same as Barry’s ATM?

That’s the scary part. We’ve squandered 2 sitters and Yoshida hasn’t done anything stupid yet, we’re primed for a ‘typical Saints’ moment…

Piss delivered now.

We’ve looked alright haven’t we? If Tadic had been more composed we’d be comfortable.

You had to say that, didn’t you?

If this goes wrong, it’s on you Bucks!

Very tense game at Anfield with a Wembley final on the line. These are the types of big occasions Jose Fonte moved to West Ham for.

You know that point in the game when we have a 1-0 lead against a team who have you under the cosh and there is two minutes to go and you are shitting yourself waiting for the whistle? That is going to be the entire second half.

If you’re not sure, it’s probably too late anyway

Can you imagine how good Steven Davis would be if he could shoot.
