:pl: :leicesterfc: Leicester City v Saints :saints:

Did I miss much?

Nope

No…nothing.

Miss what? There wasn’t much football to miss.

I’ve never felt so apathetic about watching a Saints game.

So I didn’t bother.

Terrible end to what was looking like a half decent season. Since we got duffed by city in the cup, we have played 12, won 1, drawn 2 and lost 9, conceding 30 and scoring only 9, similar form to Watford and Norwich over the last few months. I normally go into the closed season with a bit of hope for the next year, but something major has to change if we are going to compete next season or have any chance of staying up.

We’re shite and have no aspiration, what evidence is there to the contrary.

Have you at any time said anything positive about Saints?

If so please repost it here.

You are almost as depressing as the Tory Government.

Maybe but probably not this season, anyway that means nothing when my post is relevant.

What sort of aspiration are you looking for that would meet your approval?

Genuine question

Something to aspire to, anything, a goal, something we can measure our success or failure by.

Not too difficult to understand.

Well that happened.

Thank fuck that is all over.

Surely the goal of every team in the league is to win it.
The fact that we will never be rich enough to get the players to do that is irrelevent.
The goal is to win the league.
The team we have at the beginning of each season know what is expected of them.
To score goals not conceed them and win as much as possible. The fact we dont do this is also irrelevent. As we are Saints. In our 130 odd year history we have won one major trophy (god rest Bobby Stokes) so stop fucking whining every game / season when it doesnt go to plan.

@PhilippineSaint explained it way more eloquently

Yes and that one major trophy is an albatross around the neck of the team, one major trophy in our history is an embarrassment but we digress.
The club don’t say they want to win the league so how do you know?

Well I warned you about Moss and he didn’t let us down. We had the ball when he stopped play and then gave the drop ball to them. OK Schmeichel kick it down the field and we’ll start from the back as per usual.

No! Mr Slag-Grass is chasing it down. Panic ensues and they score. For the first time this season we are in the face of the fat twat and Ralph is arguing with Brendan’s shiny teeth.

Let us equalise from the kick off? Not a fucking chance.

AA wins header. Evans head butts him. Penalty. Nah!

I left after their third. Had to drive on my own as the twat I was taking fell ill overnight and he was the only reason I was going and I had forgotten to hand the Londoners their tickets on Tuesday so had to meet them.

I may have had worse days, but they would have resulted in A & E.

Why should they have to its a given.

If I enter any competition I want to win it.
If you enter a competition or in your case a game you want to win it / complete it.

How can you not understand the club does not have to state every season
We will enter the FA cup and want to get to the quarter finals
If they enter tbe competition they want to win it.
Whether we do or can is irrelevent the objective is to win it.

And how do they win it with those players, if they attempted to blurt out we could win it with that shite they’d be laughed out of town.

Well they progressed pretty far in the FA cup - compared to the rest of the teams in the various leagues. Would have been nice to progress further but it wast to be. Seems an OK achievement to get so far.

Unless we’re in a parallel universe, everywhere is saying this season has been awful, am I missing something?
Lets see how season renewals are as from what I’m hearing is people are bored and apathetic of the club, apathy is the biggest fear a club probably has, no one is arsed, no one cares.
They don’t care as the club appears not to.
