:pl: :leicesterfc: Leicester City v Saints :saints:

I think we agree

I’m just saying it’s a more encompassing problem.

Your hindsight at its best again. You said the whole squad was shit.

Whole squad? Ings included?

I did it twice.

But my (stereotyping of race) genius was ignored.

Except you.

They’re all stupid iriots.

One of many from you (this one was October)

" we’re a poor team and squad (I’ve said this many many times and people simply don’t want to acknowledge we are)"

Yes we are a poor team (playing well) and have a poor squad, that hasn’t changed.

C’mon @Barry-Sanchez. Own up. You were a giant tart during our worst moments of this season.

Others rightly feared relegation, but could live with it. You were a giant tart.

What’s surprising is that instead of simply admitting “hey lads, I was a giant tart. Soz”, you’re plying the giant tart angle.

Remarkable!

No because our team is a poor team, that hasn’t changed, say Ings got injured? The squad is poor and lacking in depth, 10 games doesn’t change that, 3 and bit seasons of wank is there for all to see.

We’re playing well but I’m in no way convinced this can continue with this squad and team.

Genuinely haven’t seen anybody on Sotonians say such a thing. Precisely why I read and post here and not the Ugly or SaintsWeb :+1:t2:

I think that if we’re all honest, we’re not immune to the emotional ups and downs that come with supporting a smaller team that occasionally gets mauled by the bigger boys, not least during transfer windows.

I was genuinely worried during our worst spells. So yep, Saints are important in life to temporarily alter my mood. You could argue that it informs part of my personality.

That said, it is not my personality. I think it sort of is for a lot of people that still plug away in the UI and TSW.

I think that’s where the hysteria comes from. A Saints loss is not just a disappointing day at the office. It’s akin to a personal attack.

Barry’s got a hint of that. I think what he really wants is someone’s blessing to support Liverpool instead.

If he’s not happy now, after all the shite we’ve seen this year, when are you ever going to be?

Permission granted, @Barry-Sanchez. Get your full kit on, wanker.

First paragraph - 100%. My comment is purely about people wanting Ralph out. I genuinely don’t recall seeing anything like that and there certainly wasn’t a thread such as ‘Ralph out’ etc.

I definitely feared the worst in November and my waters were telling me we were doomed - there’s a whole thread to prove it! :see_no_evil:

Now I can dream of Europe again! what a funny old game!

What a brilliant day out!!
Punk IPA was perfectly fine for the train journey, accompanied by pork pie, quavers and cadbury’s mini eggs. The New Year Diet is fantastic!!
Pre and post match in The Kings Head. Excellent choice of beers, great mix of home and away supporters getting along nicely (even post match) Met a bunch of Phil’s old Salisbury Crew too. Got to the ground just in time to pick up my free beer voucher, they had an IPA that wasnt too shabby andthe queue moved fast enough at HT toget served andglug it back.
Such a shame only 1280 Saints Fans, although the noise we made was superb, just imagine what the senes would have been like with double that.
The looks on the players faces at the end was fantastic to see. We’ve got our club back. I’ve added to my collection of gashed shins with over exhuberant goal celebrations again!! I carry these scars with pride!!
Bring on Liverpool away.
