I’m hoping after we spank them, everyone else goes “oh yeah, that’s how you beat them” and proceedes to do just that.
Them losing the league would camouflage our rather large loss as the embarrassment of the season(whilst emphasising the difference between a team with heart after massive defeat and the self entitled).
Back to the game.
That was more fun than the spurs game and i considered that the best we’ve played.
Considering we’re far from perfect, we’re now making teams set up to play against us(and they’re struggling to do it),rather than suit yourselves, you’ll beat us whatever. How far will a couple of decent additions take us?

One more point. Given the dreadful fucking start to the season, it is rather nice to see us doing what we used to be quite good at. Taking big team scalps. I bet some of the tarts over at TSW are even happy about that.
This season reminds me of the season we came up, except without a change of manager.
