Weāre due a win. It doesnāt follow that weāll get one, but I refuse to believe that weāve got that bad that quickly. Saints to shade it by a late goal.
Struggle to get going after the international break. Go 2 down quickly. Then wake up, get one back and fight valiantly for the equaliser but fail and get caught on the break. 3-1. (Copy of Wolves game)
I shall be in Cardiff visiting YoungAdult#1 to pick him up from Uni for Easter break. Going with MrsC_S and YoungAdult#1 if sheās sober enough to get in the car on Friday morning (work do Thursday).
Spending a long weekend there eating and drinking so will miss the game.
Bet we win by a country mile in a rampant exhibition of dominant but entertaining football
For the love of God, if you see Eric in a Pub before the game, lock him in the bathroom or something.
He hasnāt seen us win away since heās been back & his tickets arrived today
Having Patrick Bamford out injured again is a big blow for Leeds but at least they have a bit of momentum now after winning their past two games.
Their 3-2 victory at Wolves last time out was a crazy game but a great watch - and you just know Jesse Marschās side will have a real go again at Elland Road this time.
Itās hard to know what to expect from Southampton because they seem to go from being on a very good run to being on a very bad one. An entertaining draw probably isnāt a bad shout.
Shit. Thatās a nailed-on red card for Saints from āMr Look At Meā finding an angle and freeze frame that suits his agenda. Following penalty on the same basis.
According to a fascinating article on AceOdds (which I found via Hampshire Live) only 5 of the 17 referees in their survey have āgivenā us a lower proportion of wins than Anthony Taylor when theyāve been in the middle. One of those - needless to say - is Mike Dean so we shouldnāt be expecting too many favours tomorrow - unless, of course, theyāve read the article and have resolved to do better! To make matters worse, no other team has a worse win record under Taylor than us: Leeds have won half their games (probably not very many, to be fair).
This article is essential reading for everyone convinced that referees are out to do us down (hint: they often are) but at least we can have hope with Michael Oliver!
