I am amazed people believed a politician or many of them and hold them to account for this but not 10’s of previous manifestos from political parties, from the protection of Czechoslovakia to 30 minimum class sizes under the 97 labour party (pledge card) to tory starter home bullshit.
Political point scoring and mock shock indignation by people who are shock a person wanting a vote told a lie, they’re also telling a lie that they genuinely believed that shite.
Load of shit and the remainers know it, fucking bellends.
It doesn’t say how much of the money we could, will or shall use.
Besides, its theoretically true. Any UK government outside the EU would have the freedom to spend our EU contribution however they wished, including on things like the NHS.
Who is defending a lie? Its the shock of people now saying they believed a politician trying to garner a vote? I take it now Cherts won’t be voting tory because of this hideous lie?
I’m not entirely sure what the second part of your sentence means. I understand that you knew it was a gross figure. I’m sure you aren’t claiming because you knew, everyone knew.

Must try harder.
Not at all. Our side won. It’s up to you to make up the ground.
What an interesting take on moving forward together…
If you want some help prior to your next interview I’m happy to offer free advice about people skills, and how language can be used to give a good first impression.
I realise I’d almost certainly be better served spoon-feeding people what they want to hear. Hey, I could have joined the forum smiling, nodding and agreeing with what everyone said if all I was interested in was boosting my own approval out of pure self-interest.
I tend to think the best of people though - and like to believe that (almost) everyone has good interests at heart, argues in good faith and that most people only differ politically in terms of ways to achieve whatever our concepts of justice, wealth, security and happiness etc. might be.
There’s rarely a ‘Dark Lord Sauron’ sat in his tower tapping his fingers together laughing ‘mwahaharrr I am the evil-doer’. Almost everyone means well.
Pfft. Left and Right have lost all meaning these days.
You can be a staunch socialist in favour of 75% taxation, mandated union reps on corporate boards, public ownership of all and sundry but you’ll be defined as a right-wing bigot if you believe that Britain should leave the EU in order to maintain stronger borders.
Likewise you can be completely in favour of free trade, the free market, globalisation, naked corporatism and military interventionism in the name of ‘democracy’, but you’ll be pigeon-holed as an airy-fairy lefty lunatic if you make a few Facebook posts arguing for feminism, gay rights and not treating the Earth’s atmosphere as an ever-lasting sewer with an unlimited capacity.
There’s a tonne of potential floating voters out there and if you can stomach talking to someone who might not agree with you on everything then an election could well be yours for the taking whichever side of the political spectrum you personally identify yourself as.

So how does all that tie in with your post that read:
Not at all. Our side won. It’s up to you to make up the ground.
